The Season 19 World Series will feature two teams that were not the first choice to be here by most.  It was supposed to be another Vancouver Minnesota clash, but instead, the Monarchs and the aligators will battle it out, each searching for their first title.

The Monarchs have made it seem easy thus far.  They have dominated each of their first round opponents by scoring an average of over 7 runs a game.  If they plan to take down a mighty New Orleans team, they are going to need to keep this up and hope their pitching staff can try hold the aligators in check.

New Orleans can consider themselves lucky to even be here.  Going down 2-0 in their first series, and then winning game 7 against Minnesota in an offensive show.  However, they are here and they will likely be favored.  Their pitching staff is going to need to get it together if they want any chance at slowing the Kansas City offense, and taking home a ring.
